Brett Baker in Concert with Gillingham Band April 4th

On the 4th of April 2009 Brett Baker The Principal Trombone player of The Black Dyke band will join Gillingham band in a concert at the Gillingham comprehensive School.
Brett not only plays for Black Dyke but he is a Brass teacher, a Trombone Soloist and Conductor and is a featured Artist for Rath trombones. Brett, Gillingham band and Black Dyke choose to use Rath trombones as there prefered instruments.
Brett comes from the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire, and started playing at the age of 10
He was British Open Trombone Solo Champion in both 1993 and 1994.
Brett has recorded many cd’s he has appeared on 40 and has 10 of his own and is today the the most recorded trombone soloist in the brass band movement.
